Thailand (pt. 2/3 Thai Islands): An Excursion Through South East Asia

We said goodbye to Bango after the full moon party as John and I continued island hopping. From Koh Phangan we traveled to Koh Samui where we were able to find cheap accommodation right off the beach.

Since it was just the two of us, rooms got less affordable but we worked with what we had. Island music rang through the cabana creating a cool atmosphere as we planned our next move. First things first, John wanted to bring his style to a new level. Fresh haircut and a new pair of earrings.

We almost lost him. Had to break out the smelling salts.

Two days on Samui gave us a chance to soak it up on the beach and even take a tour. We visited all the main attractions on the island and snapped a bunch of photos.

Wouldn't be a trip to Thailand without a couple photos with the lady-boys

From Koh Samui it was a nine hour journey to the next island, Koh Phi Phi.

Phi Phi is home to some of the best beaches I've ever seen. The sand was soft and the water was so clear you could see right down to the ocean floor.

All across the island were businesses like book stores and tattoo shops using traditional bamboo method of tattooing.

We took a snorkeling tour where we met some really cool people.

The tour also took us to Ma Ya Bay where the movie 'The Beach' was filmed.

We hung out with our new friends until it was time to move on to the next leg of the trip. Bangkok.
